Engage in lifelong learning at The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education. The Friday Center offers courses for professional education and a variety of enrichment offerings taught by outstanding UNC-Chapel Hill faculty, staff, alumni and community experts.
Since 1913, continuing education has become a significant activity in various schools and departments throughout the University and continues to be the primary function of the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education.
With images that represent 30 countries, the exhibition reflects the Carolina community’s deep engagement with partners and communities around the world. The exhibition is made up of photos by undergraduate students, graduate students, staff and alumni.
A team at the UNC School of Education is working to develop and study issues-based teaching methods and curricula that engage students in science classrooms.
